Running to become a delegate for the 2020 Ontario Liberal Party leadership convention is in many ways like running your own (low-key) campaign. Here we will share some tips to make sure your delegate candidacy is a successful one, walk through some of the key steps you will need to take, and equip you with the tools to help spread the word about Kate.

The Road to Convention

Below are key stages, dates and other information you should keep track of in your campaign to become a Kate Graham delegate.

► November 27, 2019: Online information session about the Liberal Election Process. Sign up here.

► December 2, 2019: 6pm ET Deadline to sign up voting members (To be eligible to participate in the election of our next leader and the next Premier of Ontario, you have to have had become a party member before the 6:00PM on Monday, December 2.)

► January 7, 2020: Online information session about the Liberal Election Process. Sign up here.

► January 17, 2020: Deadline to submit interest in standing as a delegate (the deadline is at 5:00 p.m. EST).

► February 8 & 9, 2020: Local riding Leadership Election Meetings - or LEMs. (There will be a LEM in each of the 124 ridings across the province as well as the 12 women’s clubs and 13 student clubs. For a complete list of student and women’s clubs, please see the ‘Important Documents’ section below.)

► March 6 & 7, 2020: Liberal Leadership Convention. (The convention will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga on March 6-7, 2020. Only Ex-Officio delegates, and delegates and alternates elected in LEMs, who pay the convention registration fee will be eligible to attend the convention.)
